About the Role
The Facilities Maintenance Specialist will work in the on-site facilities department at Old Swinford Hospital, a leading state boarding school with a diverse student body. The school has a good academic reputation and aims to develop a balance of academic achievement, character, and resilience in its pupils.

This is a permanent, 37-hour position with an estimated salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, 20 days' annual holiday, and UK statutory public holidays. A workplace pension is also offered to eligible employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide painting and decorating services for the school's facilities.
  • To maintain and repair painting equipment and materials.
  • To ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with health and safety regulations.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Commercial and/or construction painting techniques.
  • Manual dexterity and experience working on scaffolding, ladders, and towers.
  • A flexible approach and adaptability.
