Senior Graphic Designer / Artworker Opportunity

This is a fantastic chance to join one of the most renowned Science Corporations in the World that has a full multimedia offering.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Graphic Designer / Artworker to join our International Creative Multimedia team on a long-term contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, artworking, and digital media, with a passion for creating engaging and effective visual content.

The role will involve working on a variety of projects, including print design, digital media, photo editing, and supporting the creative team with various collateral. You will be responsible for creating high-quality visual content that meets the company's brand standards and communicates the message effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Print design (flyers, advertising, leaflets, mailers, magazines)
  • Digital media (websites, email templates, banners, headers)
  • Photo editing
  • Supporting the creative team with various collateral
  • Performing technical aspects ready for print / web including typography and artwork

Requirements:

  • Commercial portfolio
  • Adobe Creative Cloud experience (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
  • Photo editing and artworking knowledge
  • Good eye for detail
  • Ability to multitask and take direction
  • Confidence in presenting your own ideas
  • Good communication skills
  • Well-organized
  • Experience working with remote teams on projects is desirable but not mandatory

This role is a remote / hybrid position that is initially a long-term contract with a view to going permanent. Our head offices are based in Macclesfield, Cheshire, so you may need to be able to commute here on an ad hoc basis.
