Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at National Online Safety. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end support for the accounting function, including managing financial transactions, producing management accounts, and reporting packs for one of our group companies.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Reporting: Produce monthly management accounts, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements, and provide variance analysis with commentary.
- Financial Analysis: Assist with budgeting and forecasting, and provide financial reporting packs to stakeholders.
- Account Reconciliations: Conduct bank and account reconciliations, and post journals, raise invoices, and perform general bookkeeping tasks.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit VAT returns, and liaise with HMRC as required.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and develop systems to improve efficiencies.
- Finance Experience: 3 years of experience in finance management, preferably in a similar role.
- Qualifications: Qualified or finalist in a professional accounting qualification, such as CIMA, ACCA, or ACA.
- Skills: Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and Netsuite; highly organized and able to work independently; strong communication and analytical skills.
