Exciting Opportunity for a Contracts Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracts Supervisor to join our team at Mitie Landscapes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of grounds maintenance operatives and overseeing all winter maintenance operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of grounds maintenance operatives to ensure efficient use of labour, materials, and equipment.
  • Effectively plan work to ensure the highest level of service delivery.
  • Oversee the maintenance team and implement a positive health and safety culture.
  • Manage a team of mobile and static workers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and training to perform their duties.
  • Collaborate with the Contracts Manager to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in grounds maintenance or a similar field.
  • Supervisory experience, with a track record of managing a team of mobile and static workers.
  • Full driving license and PAI & PA6 spraying license.
  • Good understanding of smartphone technology and ability to work in an agile and flexible environment.
  • Strong health and safety knowledge and ability to implement a positive health and safety culture.
