Electrical Calibration Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Calibration Equipment Specialist to join our team at Fluke. As an Electrical Calibration Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our manufactured electrical calibration products.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with precise electronic circuitry and components, including SMT soldering and the use of complex test/measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, ARBs, and DMMs.
You will be part of a team of 8 Manufacturing Equipment Technicians, working together to diagnose, analyze, and repair complex electrical issues. We are looking for someone who can prioritize tasks effectively, work well under pressure, and maintain a high level of quality in their work.
Responsibilities:- To test and repair a wide variety of Fluke equipment to ensure adherence to defined specifications and quality standards.
- As required by the Production Team Leader, assess and sign calibration certificates for defined products.
- Responsible for adherence to defined processes in the assigned work area, including Standard Work Instructions, 5S Standards, Safe Systems of Work, or Engineering Drawings.
- Train fellow operatives/technicians on defined processes as requested by the relevant Production Team Leader.
- Take part in the complex diagnosis and rework of Fluke products down to the component level and record and/or escalate faults to Team Leaders/Manufacturing Engineering/Metrology/Quality Engineers as required.
- Suggest and/or implement process/product improvements using the Fortive Business System toolset in order to improve operating KPIs such as Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, and Cost.
- Partake in the creation, review, and implementation of new procedures/work instructions, including suggesting improvements to currently issued procedures for both current and new products.
- Take part in the diagnosis, root cause analysis, and repair of customer DOA returns, and loading into the specified Fluke system(s) in order to participate in improving the customer experience.
As an Electrical Calibration Equipment Specialist at Fluke, you can expect a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. You will also receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.

- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in electronics or electrical engineering preferred.
