Lead Analog IC Design Team for GaN Power Electronics

We are seeking an experienced Analog IC Design Director to lead a team of engineers in the development of GaN-based power devices for the power electronics market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full life cycle of R&D projects, from concept to product release
  • Lead a team of circa 10-15 engineers in technology and product design, with a focus on IC and packaging design
  • Develop new products, meeting cost and performance targets for semiconductor device development
  • Conduct feasibility studies of novel GaN IC features and product concepts

Requirements:

  • Industry degree qualified with proven experience as a Technical Engineering Manager
  • Background and understanding of Analog IC Design essential
  • Experience in the development of power devices, power electronics, power switch elements, GaN devices, and/or power device packaging a strong interest
  • Strong track record in developing ICs for mass production
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Location: Cambridge, UK
