We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Reservations Coordinator to join our team at The Fife Arms Hotel in Braemar. As a key member of our Reservations Team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and exceeding expectations in every aspect of their stay.
Key Responsibilities- Taking reservations enquiries and making bookings for hotel rooms and restaurants with a focus on providing personalized service and exceeding guest expectations.
- Working closely with the Ghillie (concierge) team to maximize internal sales and enhance guest experience at every touchpoint within the hotel.
- Contributing to achieve the Room Revenue and Overall Revenue targets of the hotel through proactive sales and marketing efforts.
- Ensuring that all enquiries are answered promptly, ideally within the same day of being received by phone or email and no later than 24 hours.
- Conducting pre-arrival checks as per the operating procedures to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Maintaining complete knowledge of facilities, room rates, promotions, and hours of operation to positively approach bedroom, guest activities/experiences, and F&B outlet sales opportunities.
- Collaborating with Reception to ensure the flow of communications between Reservations and Front Office is seamless.
- Proven experience from within a similar luxury hospitality environment with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Previous experience with Opera Cloud or similar property management systems.
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn and grow with the company.
- Initiative, emotional intelligence, and strong communication and organization skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Passion and ambition to deliver exceptional experiences and exceed guest expectations.
- Willingness to work to the high standards demanded from a luxury establishment.
