Principal Aerospace Solutions Engineer

The National Composites Centre is at the forefront of Advanced Air Mobility and next-generation High-rate Next Generation Single Aisle development programs. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to shaping the future of industrial solutions in the Civil Aerospace landscape.
We are seeking an experienced Principal Aerospace Solutions Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in composite materials and experience with RTM/infusion systems.
Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum
This role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborating with experts from various disciplines. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative aerospace solutions using composite materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced aerospace structures using composite materials
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate composite materials into aerospace systems
- Conduct research and development to improve the performance and efficiency of composite materials
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace engineering, with a focus on composite materials
- Expertise in RTM/infusion systems and composite material processing
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
