About the Role

This exciting opportunity allows you to work with global brands across multiple industries, helping them achieve their sustainability goals through expert data management and ESG strategies. As an Environmental Data Strategist, you will take charge of client projects, leading the development and implementation of tailored sustainability strategies. Your expertise in advanced Excel and enterprise data management systems will enable you to gather, analyze, and interpret large datasets for sustainability reporting and strategic insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Manage client environmental data systems, ensuring effective data collection, analysis, and reporting. Oversee project execution, delegating tasks and maintaining project timelines to deliver impactful results.
  • Data and Technical Expertise: Utilize advanced Excel and enterprise data management systems to troubleshoot data-related issues and provide innovative solutions to meet client needs. Support the integration of technical tools to streamline data processes, making sustainability reporting seamless and efficient.
  • Sustainability Consulting: Advise clients on achieving their sustainability and ESG targets across sectors such as Utilities, Travel, Finance, and Technology.
  • Team Management: Collaborate within the team to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, while ensuring project excellence.
Requirements
  • Analytical data management, with a strong focus on an ESG related field.
  • Managing large-scale data projects, with proficiency in Excel and enterprise data management systems.
  • Practical experience in carbon accounting, sustainability reporting, and writing ESG impact reports.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver within tight deadlines.
Benefits

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a generous salary of £40,000 - £48,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. You will also enjoy 23 holiday days, inclusive of bank holidays and additional leave for years of service. Our hybrid working arrangement provides flexibility, with 2 days per week in our Bristol office and remote options available. Additionally, you will have access to a pension scheme with a 5% employer contribution, health and wellness benefits, and professional development opportunities.
