Clinical Pharmacist

Role Overview:
The role of Clinical Pharmacist - Paediatric Intensive Care Unit is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced pharmacist to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of the clinical pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to patients under the PICU service and working closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Main Responsibilities:
- Providing a clinical pharmacy service to the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.
- Providing leadership and training to clinical pharmacists working within paediatric surgery wards and working closely with the surgical team on improvement, training and governance.
- Supporting and training junior staff as they develop their knowledge and skills.
Person Specification:
We are looking for a pharmacist with a strong background in clinical pharmacy, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. You will be a member of the General Pharmaceutical Council for Pharmacists, hold a Post Graduate Clinical Diploma in Pharmacy or equivalent, and be a Member of the Neonatal and Paediatric Pharmacists Group (NPPG).
