Job Overview

The City of London Corporation is seeking a skilled Plate Butler to join our team at the Mansion House. As a key member of our support staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the plate collection, setting up plates for events, and managing the plate collection assistants.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work in a historic Grade I listed building and contribute to the success of the Lord Mayor's office. You will be part of a team that provides excellent customer service and ensures the Mansion House is maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the plate collection and ensure it is in good condition
  • Set up plates for events and manage the plate collection assistants
  • Assist with maintenance, security, and events as required
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure the Mansion House is maintained to a high standard

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends. You should also be able to provide excellent customer service and work well as part of a team.
