We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Midwife to join our team at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust. As a midwife, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, evidence-based care to expectant mothers and their families throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period.
Key Responsibilities- Assess the needs of women, partners, families, and carers, and develop personalized care plans to meet their unique needs.
- Deliver and evaluate standards of evidence-based midwifery care, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
- Provide full antenatal care, including parenting classes, clinical examinations, and screening, to promote healthy outcomes for mothers and babies.
- Identify high-risk pregnancies and develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to women and their families.
