Aramark, a leading service and solutions provider, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Training Manager to join our team at a category B men's prison. This is a permanent and full-time opportunity reporting into our General Manager on site.

The successful candidate will oversee and manage all food and food safety training within the prison, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Food Safety training to prisoners working within catering areas
  • Deliver allergen training to prisoners working within catering areas
  • Ensure all prisoners working for Aramark have been inducted into their work area
  • Train staff on the induction process
  • Keep all induction and training matrix up to date
  • Complete practical demonstrations
  • Coach and mentor candidates
  • Instruct prisoners in Health and Hygiene
  • Train prisoners and staff in the use of all kitchen equipment
  • Assist where necessary in food preparation
  • Complete Monthly safety checks for all areas
  • Identify any further training needs for all staff and action as appropriate
  • Coordinate training and all relevant training administration
  • Identify learners for NVQ and enroll
  • Complete registration tracker
  • Meet monthly KPIs and provide monthly training stats

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of food having worked in a kitchen and food safety
  • Level 3 food safety qualified
  • Experience training and developing individuals
  • A strong communicator with patience and resilience
