Equipment Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Thomas County District Atty. As an Automotive Technical Expert, you will be responsible for performing advanced maintenance of equipment and vehicles throughout the County during regular working hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and advanced maintenance on County vehicles and equipment
- Detect and diagnose mechanical problems using advanced knowledge of diagnostics
- Maintain expertise in air conditioning systems, electrical systems, and drive trains for cars and trucks
- Work independently with some supervision from the Shop Foreman
- Exercise tact, courtesy, and firmness when interacting with customers and the general public
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical diagnostics
- Proficiency in air conditioning systems
- Expertise in electrical systems
- Advanced understanding of drive trains for cars and trucks
