Key Responsibilities:

* Full ownership of the monthly management accounts, including budgeting, forecasting, and balance sheet analysis.
* Creation of cashflows and funding requirements for the board and founder.
* Reporting on budgets, expenses, accounts payable and receivables.
* Business plan development based on finance reporting.
* Advising senior stakeholders on financial issues.
* Anticipating future finance investment requirements during rapid expansion programs.
* Providing light-touch financial support for due diligence in agency M&A processes.
* Conducting reviews of currently outsourced arrangements.
* Analyzing current market trends and competitor activity.
* Customer profitability analysis.

Key Skills:

* Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
* Experienced senior finance professional with prior experience working in a leadership role and confident in implementing new processes.
* Experience with mergers and acquisitions would be highly advantageous.
* Experience setting up a finance team from scratch is also desirable.
* Confident working closely with senior management.
* A background in an agency environment (or similar).
* Excellent time management.
* Analytical and commercial mindset.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* IT proficient with solid Excel skills.
* Knowledge of Xero is desirable.
