Construction Services Officer

We are seeking a skilled Construction Services Officer to join our client's team in the Public Sector. This is a Temporary position, offering an hourly rate starting from £25 per hour Umbrella.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with Surveyors in the team and maintain accurate records for the section, including schools.
  • Provide updates on project progress and financial aspects to the Service Development and Compliance Team and Construction Programme Team.
  • Monitor the activities of consultants working on projects.
  • Input information and financial changes into spreadsheets to meet the information requirements of the Team, the Service, and the Department.
  • Administer the Adaptations and fire protection servicing records processes, including coordination with Engineers and contractors.
  • Arrange meetings, exhibitions, and venues involving tenants, leaseholders, engineers, contractors, consultants, and other relevant parties.
  • Raise and authorise contractor invoices for payment, and agree on variations within agreed limits.
  • Provide cost information for the Service Charges section to facilitate accurate leaseholder charges.
  • Prepare reports requested by the Construction Programme Manager to initiate projects.
  • Process invoices, monitor contractor activities, and report to the Construction Programme Manager.

To be successful, you should have strong administration skills and be proficient in managing information and financial data. A Basic DBS check is required.
