We are seeking a skilled Manual Software Tester to join our team in Doncaster. As a Manual Software Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform thorough manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using relevant tools.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other testers to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Write and execute detailed test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
- Perform regression testing and ensure defects are resolved before releases.
- Validate that user stories and acceptance criteria are met.
- Provide feedback on user experience and interface usability.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and other Agile ceremonies.
- Experience in manual software testing.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience in testing APIs and using API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI is a plus.
- Ability to identify test requirements from technical specifications and user stories.
- Proficiency in using bug tracking and test management tools.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and backend testing is a plus.
