Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Queen Alexandra Charity. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning difficulties and disabilities to achieve their goals and live independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide person-centered support to individuals with learning difficulties and disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Support individuals to access education, training, and employment opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive living environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of individual support plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, as required.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in a care or support setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • DBS clearance and two references.
