Job Title: Multi Skilled Technician

Brightwork Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Technician to join our client based in Blantyre. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating production lines, responding to engineering requests, and managing supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate production lines as part of a team to ensure efficient and effective production.
  • Respond to engineering requests for basic repairs and maintenance throughout the Blantyre facility.
  • Manage supplier relationships for complex engineering tasks.
  • Minimise production line downtime through planned maintenance and prompt corrective actions.
  • Respond quickly to breakdowns and ensure full documentation and records are maintained.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to production lines in conjunction with suppliers and manufacturers.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Mechanical and Electrical engineering experience.
  • Basic welding qualifications and experience.
  • Microsoft Office skills.
  • Full driving license.
