Job Title: IT SAP Architect

As a seasoned IT Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future-state architecture of our organization. Your expertise will ensure the successful adoption of our architecture, aligning IT strategies with business goals. Based in our Manchester office, with a flexible work arrangement, you will lead a team of experts, reporting to our IT Director - Architecture & Applications Delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the development of future-state architecture, ensuring its effective adoption.
  • Provide strategic direction, guidance, and definition of architecture programs that support business strategies.
  • Analyze enterprise business drivers, assess IT deficiencies, and recommend improvement solutions, aligning IT with business goals.
  • Design solutions and be involved throughout the project lifecycle for effective implementation.
  • Identify tools and components required for projects from the approved enterprise toolset.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience across multiple IT areas, with considerable relevant domain expertise.
  • Advanced to expert-level knowledge and understanding of architecture, application design, systems engineering, and integration.
  • Preferred certification in TOGAF, IT Architecture, with a good understanding of project delivery methodologies such as Agile, SAFe, SAP Activate, etc.
  • Substantial business knowledge and expertise in one or more technical areas, including network, security, applications, and systems software, data, and the Internet.
  • Awareness or experience in any Operating model for delivering IT Projects.
  • SAP Competency: Proficiency in SAP-related technologies, both on-premise and in the cloud.
