Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Cadbury Sixth Form College. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with students who have SEND to develop trusting relationships and provide individualized support
  • Follow established processes and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality support services
  • Use initiative and problem-solving skills to address the diverse needs of students in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and other support services to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive learning experience
Requirements:
  • GCSE in English and Maths at grade C or above (or equivalent qualification)
  • Current skills in Literacy, Language, and Numeracy at Level 2
  • Minimum of a Level 3 subject qualification
  • City & Guilds 9297 Certificate in Adult Learning Support (or working towards completion)
