About the Role

We are seeking an experienced consultant to provide strategic direction for our Energy and Carbon Consultancy (E&CC) service. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in energy management and carbon reduction, with a focus on aspects including energy audits and surveys, feasibility studies, building and process optimisation, energy management, monitoring and targeting, energy and water benchmarking, carbon footprinting, and development of Net Zero Carbon strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site energy assessments, audits, and surveys of industrial, commercial, and public sector facilities.
  • Evaluate the performance and cost-effectiveness of energy efficiency technologies for use in industrial, commercial, and public sector facilities.
  • Develop and implement energy management plans to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Provide expert advice on energy efficiency technologies, including low and zero carbon technologies and techniques.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify and implement energy-saving opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver energy awareness and technical training programs.

About You

We are looking for an experienced consultant with a strong technical background in energy management and carbon reduction. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant engineering-related subject, be a Chartered Engineer and member of a relevant professional Institute, and have experience in conducting on-site energy assessments, audits, and surveys. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as a proven track record in business development.
