In this role, you will work one-on-one with a child who requires support with language and communication skills, as well as social/emotional skills. The child will be graduating from our Prek class by next year, and we are looking for someone who can provide the necessary support and guidance to help them thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one support to the child, focusing on language and communication skills, social/emotional skills, and daily living skills.

Collaborate with the Autism Specialist and other centre staff to develop and implement individualized support plans.

Communicate effectively with the child, the Autism Specialist, and the family to ensure a smooth and supportive transition.

Requirements:

Early Childhood Education diploma or equivalent experience.

Experience working with children with autism or other special needs.

CPR First Aid training and a Vulnerable Sector Check.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
