Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Electronics Development Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electronic Engineering and experience in both analogue and digital electronics hardware design.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of new electronic assemblies that would be integrated into a mechanical package.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Development: Take on responsibility for the electronic aspect of product developments, working closely with the mechanical development engineer to ensure a seamless integration.
  2. PCB Design and Prototyping: Create PCB designs and layouts, as well as produce necessary documentation for manufacture.
  3. Prototype Testing and Validation: Test and validate prototypes in accordance with applicable EMC legislation at our clients' in-house pre-compliance testing facility.
  4. Product Improvement: Identify and recommend product improvements based on cost optimisation and technical performance.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in both analogue and digital electronics hardware design
  • Experience with bringing product to market from concepts (full product life cycle)
  • Knowledge of CAN bus networks – particularly SAE J1939
  • Self-motivated to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills
