Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate the shift team to achieve productivity and service KPIs
  • Ensure Health, Safety, and Hygiene standards are met and maintained
  • Deliver communication briefings to the team to keep them informed of company and local issues
  • Manage the Goods Inwards area to ensure receipts are made quickly and without damaging goods
  • Develop team members to maximize their contributions to the Warehouse
  • Carry out disciplinary and grievance interviews and investigations
  • Monitor and control sickness absence levels and conduct return to work interviews
  • Monitor and control the time and attendance system
  • Ensure the appropriate levels of overtime and agency workers are used
  • Enforce and adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Monitor and control training for the team
