  • Directing the Fleet team to ensure commercial vehicles and company cars are compliant, well-maintained, and cost-efficient.
  • Developing and implementing innovative fleet strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborating with senior management to align fleet policies with business objectives and minimize operational costs.
  • Managing fleet budgets with precision, conducting regular reviews and forecasting to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Ensuring that SGN vehicles and drivers meet the highest safety and legal standards, adhering to all relevant regulations.
  • Overseeing third-party service providers to guarantee they meet performance standards through regular reviews and improvement plans.
  • Implementing initiatives to reduce road risks, working with accident management providers and insurers to minimize motor claims and accidents.

Essential Requirements:
  • Fleet management expertise and technical knowledge.
  • Thorough understanding of fleet costs, budgets, vehicle engineering, maintenance, and repair.
  • Proven experience managing a large, diverse fleet for a multi-site business, with strong planning, organizational, and team leadership skills.
  • Strong data analysis and manipulation skills to deliver high-quality fleet services.
  • Comprehensive understanding of fleet legislation and O licence obligations.
  • Expertise in project and resource planning, with excellent communication and contract management skills.
