Job Overview

Oceaneering, a leading global provider of engineered services and products to the offshore energy industry, seeks a skilled Aerospace Technician to join its team. This role is based in the UK and offers a competitive salary.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out NDT inspection techniques on various components, ensuring their acceptability to specification. The ideal candidate will have ISO 9712/PCN Level 2 certifications in Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, and Ultrasonics 3.2, as well as a full UK driving license. A flexible approach, team player mentality, and excellent communication skills are also essential.

Responsibilities
  • To conduct NDT inspections on components, pipework, and structural assemblies, establishing their acceptability to specification.
  • To perform risk assessments and ensure the work area is safe for NDT activities.
  • To carry out fault-free equipment function tests and maintain accurate records.
  • To produce clear, concise reports detailing inspection methods, results, and findings.
Requirements
  • ISO 9712/PCN Level 2 Liquid Penetrant certification.
  • ISO 9712/PCN Level 2 Magnetic Particle certification.
  • ISO 9712/PCN Level 2 Ultrasonics 3.2 certification.
  • Full UK driving license.
