About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Gas Engineer Support Specialist to join our team at Cadent. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our engineers in delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the team leader in coordinating daily tasks and activities
  • Attend to gas leaks and perform groundwork, excavations, and reinstatements
  • Utilize appropriate signing, lighting, and guarding to ensure a safe working environment
  • Deliver equipment and tools as required
  • Participate in patrol and plant protection
  • Work on deep excavations up to 2.5m
  • Contribute to the standby rota system

Requirements:

  • Full valid driver's license
  • Ability to be clean-shaven every day for health and safety reasons
  • Shift working and occasional weekend work
