Dementia Care Worker

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Care and Support Specialist to join our team at Cherrybrook Care Home.
About the Role:
- Provide holistic care and support to residents, addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans that promote independence, dignity, and well-being.
- Work closely with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance resident outcomes.
- Support residents with challenging behaviors, using positive communication and de-escalation techniques.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- At least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant, with a passion for delivering exceptional care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- A commitment to promoting resident autonomy, dignity, and well-being.
