Main Duties of the JobThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of professionals to deliver cancer performance and delivery, staff engagement and communication, workforce planning, and financial efficiency targets. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, with significant experience in a management role, including staff, budget, and operational experience. They will also have experience as an effective team leader, demonstrating leadership skills and the ability to motivate others.
The candidate will also have experience of managing complex budgets, including their control and deployment, and demonstrable success in working collaboratively across professions, services, and organisational boundaries. They will also have experience of leading and managing change, developing strategies and approaches that impact across the whole organisation, and consulting and negotiating in a senior capacity with key partners.
