Job Description:

As an Engineering Safety Consultant with BAE Systems, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and effectiveness of our products and systems through the application of human factors engineering principles.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in human factors engineering and experience in assessing functional design and providing technical direction to engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess functional design and provide qualification and evidence for acceptance, fitness for purpose, legislative requirements, and safety
  • Support the delivery of safety cases
  • Develop and implement human factors engineering solutions to meet business needs

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • CEng or equivalent level of capability, Degree in Human Factors or Psychology
  • Previous experience of writing assessments and safety reports
  • Previous experience of influencing and managing Stakeholders at different levels

Benefits:
