Global Director of Compensation and Benefits

Belmond is seeking an experienced professional to lead and shape our total rewards strategy, focusing on attracting, retaining, and motivating top talent. In this strategic role, you will act as a trusted business partner to senior leadership, aligning our compensation, benefits, and rewards programs with Belmond's goals and ensuring consistency and compliance across our global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a global compensation and benefits strategy, including pay scales, benefits, pensions, and incentive plans that align with Belmond's long-term goals.
  • Establish and maintain fair, competitive, and compliant global compensation structures through regular benchmarking and job evaluations.
  • Lead annual salary reviews for global teams, prepare compensation packages for new hires and promotions, and support negotiations.
  • Identify and mitigate compensation-related risks, ensuring adherence to global legal standards and audit requirements.
  • Oversee programs that support international mobility, including expatriate compensation structures.
  • Partner with global HR and regional teams to implement local reward programs that reflect market best practices and Belmond values.
  • Drive HR and compensation projects, such as restructures, system upgrades, and global reward strategies.
  • Lead the development of a global HRIS strategy to enhance data accuracy, efficiency, and employee experience, ensuring it integrates with compensation and benefits processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience at a Director level in HR with a strong focus on compensation and benefits in a global organization.
  • Experience leading global HR projects, negotiating international benefits, skilled in benchmarking, designing pay scales, and implementing HRIS/Human Capital systems.
