Salary:£16.00 Per hour
Job Duties:- Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering educational activities
- Assisting with the implementation of individual education plans for students
- Providing one-to-one support for students with learning difficulties
- Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
- Helping to create a positive learning environment for students
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Enhanced DBS check
- First Aid certification
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience:Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting
Knowledge and Skills:- Understanding of child development and learning processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good organisational skills
- Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools
- Experience working with students with special educational needs
- Work primarily takes place in a classroom setting
- May involve working with students with challenging behaviour
- Full-time hours with occasional overtime required
Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the classroom teacher in delivering educational activities, assisting with the implementation of individual education plans for students, and providing one-to-one support for students with learning difficulties. They will also assist with classroom management and behaviour support, and help to create a positive learning environment for students.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, an Enhanced DBS check, and First Aid certification. They will also have a minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths, and prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team, are essential for this role.
Preferred Qualifications: A Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools, and experience working with students with special educational needs, are preferred qualifications for this role.
