About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Contract Expert to join our team at Paradigm Housing Group.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies to ensure quality, value, and compliance in procurement.

The role involves leading and improving utilities contract management to achieve cost efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities

  1. Developing Sourcing Strategies: Collaborate with Category Managers to develop and implement sourcing strategies that meet our procurement needs.
  2. Contract Management: Improve contract management processes to achieve cost savings and regulatory compliance.
  3. Embedding Standards: Establish and embed a robust Contract Management Standard to drive performance excellence.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to drive collaboration and innovation.
  5. KPIs and Compliance: Develop and maintain KPIs to monitor contract performance and ensure compliance.
  6. Supporting the Head of Procurement: Provide support to the Head of Procurement in supplier risk management, training delivery, and compliance auditing.

Requirements

  • Public Sector Experience: Significant experience in the Public sector with a proven track record in procurement.
  • Contract Management Expertise: Strong expertise in contract and supplier relationship management, risk mitigation, and change implementation.
  • Relationship-Building Skills: Excellent relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel functions.
