Job Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated veterinary care specialist to join our team in a dynamic and collaborative environment. As part of our vibrant and growing veterinary practice, you will provide exceptional veterinary care to animals while working in a supportive and progressive team. Job Title: Veterinary Care Specialist
Location: South Norwood, Greater London
Working Hours: Our full-time rota entails 40 hours over five days with 1:6 Saturdays and no OOH. However, we know that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career and we want to make it easy for you to strike the right balance. We would welcome both full or part-time applicants and we are happy to discuss working patterns for part-time team members.
Salary: Up to £69,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
  • Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
  • Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
  • Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
