We are seeking a skilled and ambitious individual to join our team as a Higher Apprentice in Mineral Products Management. About the Job

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Site Manager in achieving key objectives and driving performance improvements across various departments. You will also contribute to ongoing projects that align with our company's strategic goals and priorities. Your tasks will include working on projects that directly contribute to our goals outlined in the Heidelberg Materials UK Sustainability Report, and you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our site.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Site Manager to achieve key objectives and drive performance improvements across various departments.
  • Contribute to ongoing projects that align with our company's strategic goals and priorities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong academic record, including at least 80 UCAS points at A/AS level and a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, including Maths, English, and Science. We also welcome applicants with Welsh Baccalaureate, Diploma, NVQ Level 3, Scottish Higher, or an advanced level apprenticeship. A full UK driving license is required (or must be obtained before the start of the programme), and you must be willing and able to relocate during the programme to maximize learning opportunities.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £24,960 per annum, plus a £1,200 welcome bonus for September starters.
