Exciting Opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer - Maintenance Role

Castle Employment Agency Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing planned, preventative, and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure optimal performance
  • Conduct root cause analysis and resolve issues related to machinery and process improvements
  • Maintain accurate documentation and record keeping for maintenance activities
  • Provide comprehensive breakdown reports and actions taken to enhance our planned maintenance processes
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety guidelines

Requirements:

  • Time-served Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias
  • Strong knowledge of pneumatic and electrical control systems
  • Experience with product transfer systems (elevators, drag-chain, auger feed systems)
  • Proven troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
  • Excellent organisational skills, with a positive, can-do attitude

Shift Patterns Available:

  • Thursday to Sunday OR Friday to Monday, 6am – 6pm
