Electoral Services Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electoral Services Manager to join our team at Publica Group Ltd. As an Electoral Services Manager, you will be responsible for providing an efficient, effective, and comprehensive elections and electoral registration service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a small team to ensure elections are planned and delivered to high standards.
- Develop excellent relationships across the Council and with external partners.
- Provide guidance and support within the area of elections and electoral registration.
- Develop and implement tactical delivery plans for elections, polls, and referenda.
- Manage absent voters and coordinate the introduction and delivery of the Elections Act 2022.
- Lead the creation and delivery of initiatives to encourage voter engagement and participation.
Requirements
- AEA Certificate and/or Diploma in Electoral Administration, or similar degree-level qualification.
- More than five years' experience within local government in an electoral services environment.
- A sound working knowledge of word, excel spreadsheets, and electoral software.
- The ability to work independently and within the Elections Team under pressure and within tight deadlines.
