Breakfast Chef

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Breakfast Chef to join our team at the Holiday Inn Oxford hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook breakfast dishes to a high standard, ensuring all food is presented in an appealing and appetizing manner.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Assist in the ordering and management of kitchen supplies and inventory.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the kitchen team to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • Train junior kitchen staff as required.

About the Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working as a Breakfast Chef or similar role.
  • A strong passion for food and a creative approach to cooking.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude.

The Holiday Inn Oxford hotel is conveniently located just off the A34, only three miles from Oxford town centre. Hotel guests can enjoy free parking and a short walk to the Pear Tree Park & Ride bus service for a quick 10-minute journey into the City Centre.

For those looking to explore further afield, Oxford Parkway train station is only five minutes away by car and provides easy access to London, while the designer outlet shopping at Bicester Village Retail Park is also within easy reach.

Within walking distance of the hotel are many of the University of Oxford's historic buildings, including the Radcliffe Camera and Christopher Wren's Tom Tower, as well as the Ashmolean Museum.
