Job Title: Lead Front End Developer

We're seeking an experienced Lead Front End Developer to join our dynamic team and drive the transformation of our websites. If you're a visionary developer with a knack for creating innovative, high-performance user experiences, we want to hear from you.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Development Efforts: Take charge of the front end development process, guiding the technical direction and architecture of our projects.
  • Enhance Core Projects: Work on key initiatives using JavaScript, ensuring our solutions are cutting-edge, robust, and scalable.
  • Collaborate and Inspire: Partner with cross-functional teams to bring creative ideas to life, setting new standards for web development.
  • Build CRO Tests: Implement Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) tests to enhance user engagement and improve key performance metrics.
  • Mentorship & Leadership: Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership, conducting code reviews, and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Stay at the Forefront: Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in front end development, ensuring our solutions remain ahead of the curve.
Requirements

We're looking for someone with:

  • Extensive experience in front end development, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your leadership in delivering complex projects.
  • Expertise in React and JavaScript, with in-depth knowledge of server-side rendering, Next.js, and modern frontend tools and libraries.
  • Experience in CRO testing, including A/B testing.
  • Proven leadership experience, including mentoring developers, leading technical discussions, and driving best practices.
  • Strong understanding of web standards, accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for crafting visually appealing, user-friendly applications.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead in a fast-paced, agile environment.
