Nursery Room Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join our team at Tigerlily Childcare Berks and Bucks Limited. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for creating a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment for children, while also implementing a high-quality curriculum that reflects our focus on outdoor learning, environmental education, and nutrition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage daily activities within the room, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for children.
  • Plan and implement a high-quality curriculum that reflects our focus on outdoor learning, environmental education, and nutrition.
  • Work closely with parents, staff, and external partners to enhance the educational experience and overall well-being of the children.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's development and learning journeys.
  • Mentor and support team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
  • Ensure compliance with EYFS standards and nursery policies.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 or higher in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Room Leader or similar role in an early years setting.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
  • Genuine passion for outdoor education and commitment to our nursery's ethos of Environment, Community, and Nutrition.
