Performing Arts Teacher Vacancy

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Performing Arts teacher to join our dynamic faculty at Wayman Learning Trust.

About the Role:

  • Design and deliver engaging and informative Performing Arts lessons across all year groups, incorporating elements of drama, music, and dance.
  • Cultivate a stimulating and creative learning environment that fosters a love of performance, collaboration, and self-expression.
  • Guide students in developing their performance skills, technical abilities, and understanding of the performing arts.
  • Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE, A-Level, as applicable).
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Performing Arts department and contribute to school-wide productions and events.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in a relevant Performing Arts subject (Drama, Music, Dance) or a combination of these disciplines.
  • Demonstrates a strong passion for the performing arts and a captivating teaching style.
  • Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management within a diverse learning environment.
  • Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity and individual creativity.
  • Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
