We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician to join our Engineering team at a fast-paced manufacturing facility in Crewe. As a Technical Production Specialist, you will be responsible for the setting and operation of CNC & Power Press Machines, as well as maintenance and repair tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting and operating Power Press/CNC Machines while performing reactive and preventative maintenance on all machinery and systems
- Working to company safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintaining machines in line with preventative maintenance schedules to optimize production
- Reacting to resolve immediate mechanical break downs and recording machine performance using the companies Smart Factory data collection system
- Taking part in company safety, quality, and performance programs to drive business success
Requirements:
- A 4-year Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship with a Level 3 Minimum in Engineering - Essential
- Power Press or CNC background desired, but not required
- Hand Mechanical Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
About the Company:
Our client is a leading manufacturer in the UK, known for their commitment to innovation and quality. This role offers a stable and secure opportunity for technically motivated engineers who are passionate about delivering exceptional results.
Salary Range: £42,000 - £47,000 per annum, depending on experience.
