Principal Developer

Sony Interactive Entertainment is a global leader in the gaming industry, producing iconic brands such as PlayStation. Our team in Guildford, United Kingdom is seeking a highly skilled Principal Developer to join our Game Technology group for a 12-month contract opportunity.
This exciting role will involve designing and delivering technology solutions across key priorities within Game Technology, collaborating with designers to identify creative solutions, and championing best practices within the team.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience implementing and debugging multithreaded real-time code at a Principal level or above.
- Excellent C and C++ skills, with ability to write efficient and well-documented code.
- Strong understanding of game systems, gameplay, UI, and tools.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with designers and other developers.
