Job Overview:

The County Hotel, Chelmsford is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our housekeeping team. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and hospitality are maintained.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of public areas, including reception, corridors, and stairwells.
  • Conducting thorough deep cleaning tasks in hotel bedrooms based on tasks provided by the Housekeeping Manager.
  • Supporting guests with their needs and requests, providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year's experience in housekeeping or cleaning.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Availability to work part-time, approximately 20 hours per week, on a rota basis.

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of up to £11.44 per hour, including benefits such as discounted food, employee discounts, free parking, and access to a health and wellbeing programme.
