We are currently looking for a highly skilled MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician to join our team at the Institute of the Motor Industry. limited.
Job DescriptionThis role involves working in a state-of-the-art body shop, repairing damaged vehicles using modern equipment and techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
Key Skills and Qualifications- A recognised apprenticeship as a MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician and a technical qualification (such as NVQ / ATA / IMI / SVQ).
- Previous experience working as a MET Technician / MET Strip Fitter in a busy body shop, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Diagnostic training and a thorough understanding of vehicle systems.
The successful candidate can expect a salary of up to £45,000 (depending on experience) + bonus, along with opportunities for career advancement and professional development.
