As a skilled Vehicle Technician at Lookers Volkswagen Northallerton, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of vehicle maintenance and repair.

Working alongside our experienced team, you will be responsible for carrying out vehicle health checks, conducting services, and performing repairs using the latest technology and manufacturer-approved methods.

Our Service Manager, George Blake, will provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure you have the tools and training needed to excel in your role.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct vehicle health checks using the latest technology
  • Perform vehicle services in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
  • Carry out additional repairs once authorized by the customer
  • Warranty repairs will be carried out in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, with relevant documentation completed
  • Take customers' vehicles on a road test to ensure all faults are rectified
  • Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a workshop environment, be self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to learn, with a full UK driving licence and completion of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.

Previous experience working with the Volkswagen brand is advantageous, but not essential.
