The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient operation of the stores department, ensuring inventory is maintained and orders are fulfilled on time. This role requires a strong working knowledge of engineering materials equipment and procurement processes, as well as experience in business ERP systems, ideally Dynamics 365 Business Central.
A competitive salary of £32,000 - £37,000 per annum is on offer, plus excellent benefits, including a Group Personal Pension Plan with Legal and General, 25 days annual holiday plus public holidays, Free parking, Health & wellbeing programme and Life insurance.
About the Job:
- Managing inventory, ordering supplies, receiving and inspecting deliveries, and organising the storage area.
- Implementing a system to track stock levels, ensuring inventory is maintained, and utilising inventory monitoring tools to track stock levels and set reorder thresholds.
- Conducting regular and thorough inventory audits, designing an efficient storage layout, and maintaining a meticulous record-keeping system for inventory transactions and supplier data.
- Maintaining health and safety standards, adhering to company policies and procedures, and contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.
