At Anson McCade, we're seeking a highly skilled Data and AI Engineer to join our team in Central London – Hybrid location. As an AI & Data Engineering practitioner, you'll play a key role in unlocking data's potential by creating pipelines that ingest, transform, and enrich diverse datasets into reliable, actionable insights.

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented individual who can design scalable data pipelines and storage solutions, coordinating with developers and engineers to address the needs of various teams. Your expertise in data modelling and governance will establish the standards for consistency and quality across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create data pipelines that ingest, transform, and enrich diverse datasets into reliable, actionable insights.
  • Design scalable data pipelines and storage solutions, coordinating with developers and engineers.
  • Establish data modelling and governance standards for consistency and quality across all projects.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to leverage data engineering tools and produce high-quality, standardised data for AI and reporting.

Requirements:

  • British Passport Holder with active UKIC DV (Developed Vetting Clearance)
  • Experience in ingesting, transforming, and integrating diverse data sources into structured assets through ETL processes and automated workflows.
  • Proficiency in distributed computing techniques (parallel processing, streaming, batch orchestration) for managing large data volumes.
  • Skilled in optimizing data systems for performance, scalability, reliability, and security, with knowledge of data governance and metadata management.
  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end development of data pipelines across various tech stacks and data types (batch, streaming, real-time).

Salary and Benefits:

  • Base Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 (DoE)
  • Bonus: 5-10% per annum
  • DV Bonus: Up to £7,000
  • Cash Flex Fund: Up to £5,000
