We are seeking a skilled DC Surveyor to join our team at nexos. This is a key role supporting the delivery of our business objectives offshore, undertaking dimensional control survey work scopes using advanced techniques.

This position is responsible for ensuring jobs are surveyed to the required standard in line with our integrated engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) offering.

Main responsibilities include:

Key Site Information Gathering

Obtain critical site information to support the preparation of engineering documents for client TAR and Repair Order Campaigns.

Dimensional Control Techniques

Apply competent technical knowledge and experience to prepare:

  • Site sketches
  • Dimension control scan data
  • Validation of proposed modifications
  • Scan databases
  • Existing isometrics
  • Red line markups

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Higher National Certificate (HNC) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with dimensional control techniques, software, and equipment.
  • Valid offshore certification (BOSIET, Medical, etc.).
  • Civils experience is preferred.
  • Experience in offshore design site survey (piping/structural).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of industry standards, procedures, and processes.
